Rewriting the Nicea/Constantinople

A letter to fellow Christians. We as a group thought it would be best to write out the guidelines of our believes so there is no confusion moving forward. They are as follows..

  • There is one all powerful God, he created us, where we live, and where we will go in the afterlife… basically everything around us even if we don’t see it.
  • God’s only son Jesus, who he created, before time and light was created, being God as well, not made but given to the world is just as one with God.
  • Jesus and God though they are one, created everything that is present for us humans.
  • For us humans, and our protection from sin and danger, Jesus came down from the heavens and became flesh from the Holy Spirit and his virgin birth mother Mary.
  • Once Jesus was human flesh, he was sent to suffer to death by the emperor.
  • After his suffering, he eventually died, and was properly buried.
  • Three days later he arose from being dead just as it was predicted, just like the scriptures read.
  • Once he arose he went back to heaven and stood next to his father.
  • He will come again to properly judge us humans, even those who have died.
  • The kingdom of God is everlasting.
  • By the spirit and the greater life giving God, taking steps onward by God, Jesus and God though they are one will be worshipped and glorified.
  • The one speaking through the prophets to us humans is holy.
  • As a Catholic and Apostolic Church, we will ask for forgiveness of sins at baptisms.
  • Until we are awaiting our turn to be judged, we look forward to arising from the dead just as Jesus did until the time presents itself.
  • In these truths, we believe.

We as a people will repeat these beliefs at each meeting service. We hope these clarify our beliefs as a group and hope you are able to agree with these statements.

God Bless… The Council of Constantinople
